WHat camera and lens did you use? It does look like HDR at first, but when you look closely you can tell that it's not. Wonderful shot. The lack of people makes it very eerie in the best way. Almost looks like a 3D render for a movie. Is that you in the very center of the reflection on the bean? (I find things like that amusing)

Can't believe my eyes that it's real! I thought it's a 3D scene! WOW! Amazing!

I would totally be the lone person running down that walk to the left. (That would make a cool pic xD)
Anyways...
I'm totally jealous you get to see this in person you cad! Gorgeous shot, much love.

That is amazing! I love it! The colors are so rich, almost surreal. The panoramic nature of it adds to the dreamlike quality, what with the lines curving almost as if space itself is warped. I'm glad to see an original picture of Cloud Gate! Aw screw it, I'll just call it The Bean like everyone else.

Cool Bean!
The rainy day also kept the people away, which makes it even more of an unusual shot. It also gave the pavement a reflective "metallic" quality.
Great shot, Seeker!

Successfull combination for panorama...
I realy feel myself in the street when i look at the photograph...
it's very good but can be better with a little bit contrast.

Thanks! I'll definitely that that as a compliment =]
Hmm, yeah. I had a version where i upped the brightness of the buildings and darkened the sky, improving the contrast. But that looked a little too much like a fake HDR to me, so I opted not to do it.
Perhaps I can try again tomorrow and see if messing with the contrast directly will get the desired effect. Thanks!
