Taken on a trip to Hong Kong in December 2001. It was taken on Hong Kong Island from one of the many walkways over the busy city-centre streets.The camera used was a digital Fuji Film FinePix 2400. I didn't have a tripod with me, so I just balanced myself against a pole and held my breath - hence the slight blurring.

Nice Shot. This brings back memories as I go back to HongKong every couple of years.
The scene looks very familiar, and whether it be by design, or sheer coincidence, i do like how the motion appears through most of the shot, which makes the lone guy at the bottom next to the bike stand out.

heh, I'm going back in three weeks. I did have a really good daytime shot of the Bank Of China, but can't seem to find it.

well, it's a GREAT photo for the little amount of time you spent there.
I do hope you get to go some time in the future, because 3 days simple ISN'T enough to appreciate the full force of HongKong!!!

This is an amazing photo. Even if you hadn't told about not having a tripod, this wouldn't do off for the spectacular effect of this photograph. That street is like a river of light flowing through a chasm build up out of sky scrapers. Just such an awsome sight. And that person there near the bottom on the island is a very nice (though may be not intentional) touch. Due to the fact that the person isn't blurred but is sharp in focus, he really stands out, which looks just amazing amidst all the blurred light
