Description
A photo of the Drakensberg mountain range in South Africa taken in midwinter.For me this type of photo always holds a sense of tiredness, frustration and a seemingly unreachable goal. I have an image in my mind of a group of young African children walking this road, their shoes scuffed and dusty, their eyes sore from the dry dusty air, their minds tired from a long day at school and their souls tired of the battles from the past.
Framing and sepia toning was done in PS.

That is a very great photo indeed. The road and landscape really does, and i think sepia adds to it, have a feeling of tiredness in it. And because of the slight angle the photo is taken there is a feeling that everything on this road is bowing down underneath the heavy weight of life. Though it seems to be a very beautiful places as well, I would love to run on this road.

This photo really does bring out a lot of the things you speak of in your comments. Very expressive...though I do find myself wishing the horizon was level, but other than that I love the shot, and the sepia tone enhances it nicely.

I think the title might have been more effective (by being shorter) if it'd been something like "Tired Feet, Tired Soul". That's just personal taste though
As for the photograph: it looks really beautiful and soothing, especialy with the sepia toning and the slightly elongated perspective. Really has a sense of depth to it, giving this the impression of a long and lonely road. And those clouds in the sky are awsome. Great piece of work

i really like the sepia tones and the clouds look great but it kindve bothers me that the road isnt in the center
