OMGOMGOMG!So I tried out my Corel Painter Essentials 4.0, which I have had for like... more than a year now? Because I'm tired of using GIMP and having crappy looking paintings... Well, anyway, I decided to try a digital oil painting of a dragon. This is the first time I've done a dragon front view, as well as the first time I've used Corel painting. Well, about four hours later, this is my trophy! About the best digital painting I've ever done! And I don't know if I'll ever do one as good as this again... but maybe this is a breakthrough lol.
Anyway, he's supposed to be a black dragon with two different light sources illuminating his scales.

Haha, thanks! Yeah, the lighting was only easy this time because the actual dragon is black, so I didn't have to worry about a lot of varying colors. It's actually simple, but it turned out better than I thought.
