This is the main character for my newest series titled: "Julibee's Expedition" which is about a girl named Julibee who steals food with her friend Shaquanika who helps her out.Related content

Very interesting character design, simple yet very exressive. Love her outfit and her hair looks pretty good too.
I'm not good at on the spot comedy though unless I'm currenty in the situation myself so I'm a little useless as for what she could do sorry
But I like the idea so far and woul love to see her whwen she's animated :3

this is a very unique but simple style, especially if you intend to animate this. It's a good character design, but have you thought of drawing this character from different perspectives? (if anything else, good practice). I can see her being sort of a slapstick humor, or perhaps something slow and witty humor. I hope this helps.

So, you say that this character is going to be for an animated flash series and that the story is inspired by the antics of Yogi Bear.
Well, for one, I think you should try to come up with some sort of way to separate these characters from the stories that they were inspired by. Yogi was known for stealing picnic baskets, but he only ever really stole them because he liked food. What if you made it so Julibee and Shaquanika had some reason for wanting to steal food beyond the fact that they enjoy eating it? They need some sort of overarching goal that will guide them throughout the series.
Whoβs your antagonist going to be? Iβm sorry to say this, but I donβt really know enough about your ideas or these characters yet to just pull a funny story out of thin air. Also, I'm not much of a comedian. Or a story teller for that matter, hah.

i think as far as character goes this is clever -- her wide hips are clearly because of all the stolen food she eats. thats good visual language - important in comics.
the way she walks or lies could be done in a funny way, as she is quite lumpy. make sure her friend is very different to her to create comedic contrast ... she would be either smaller than jubilee or very tall and skinny.

This character is very good, especially I like the facial expressions that give more life to the character but I also like Style, so the body seems more dynamic, well contructed and my criticism is that the characters should not stray too far from their faces in order to maintain proper order

I like the one when her bum is halfway up in the air :') i agree with the previous comments it would be quite good to see them dance to a song like i dunno 'hamster dance song' or you could make 'Julibee' to have a like a werid fetish with a certain food or gain a relationship with them? i dunno :3 hope any of it helps

I can see her being all ninja assassin at a shopping sale or shes doing some dances moves or she swings her hips and they collide with someone and the person goes flying in that direction.

I think you should draw her singing karaoke or something. She should be doing something very very, I don't know the right word, outgoing? If you do draw her singing karoake it should be a fail, but such a fail that it's funny. Get me?Or jump roping.. I would love to see this character jump rope.

I'm rather fond of Julibee's design, though perhaps Shaquanika could use a little more fine tuning.

Julibee feels guilty because she has stolen food and her friend is not amused.
You can give Jubilee for example a pie in her hands so that the context will be clear.
She also likes food which stands out in her legs and her belly, thatΒ΄s good.
Have you decided if Jubilee becomes white or brown (black)? Julibee is not white I think (name).
When you choose for white the hairstyle is right (the colour could be lighter), otherwise I think you have to choose for another hairstyle, its maybe to flat or you have to make the skincolour a little bit lighter. The Shaquanika character is very good! I like her!

I really like how you captured the roundness in her. I could see her walking in a restaurant or on an airplane and bumping into things with her hips. It could be her clumsy/ funny attribute. Wish I could make a consistent character like this.

First thing that struck me after reading the describtion: Kay, she's a thief. Thieves need to be swift and agile, which she does not look like at all. So maybe she has to make up that loss with extreme creativity within her coups, making up crazy plans to get what she wants, which not allways turn out as aspected? Maybe she's really good at acting (the white face with red lips kinda reminded me of japanese kabuki theatre) able to play games with nearly everyone's minds? She could be the perfect trickster, if she'd not manage to be unpredictable even to herself all the time. And when all plans and tricks fail... You said, she loves eating, so maybe she could develop "comical superpowers" when hungry, surprising everybody (and even herself) by being litterally unstoppable by any means.
So this were just some random thoughts, hope it'll help nonetheless. I'll get back to you if I get any more ideas.

Ren and Stimpy, Julibee should, I guess, Insult Shaquaika and and rough her up when she does something wrong but come back and apologize by sharing with her a peice of food she randomly pulls from nowhere~ Or something like that~

Hmmm, I dont usually see these kinds of animation buti t's refreshing, Take a look at Ren and Stimpy Julibee should have a sidekick that she abuses and she should like, hmmm, pull out food from nowhere when she is nervous and eats like a pig? ^ ^
