Part of my project on Narcolepsy. My girlfriend (depicted) suffers from it, and I know has many struggles because of it. I wanted to use my artwork to capture some of the emotions & situations she has to deal with everyday as a result of narcolepsy/cataplexy.
This piece is about the abnormal sleep cycle, resulting in sufferers being in an almost constant state of tiredness, but simultaneously not being able to go to sleep at night & regularly waking up.
