a long time ago on the island of sodor when the railway was in its infancy an a woman was out trying to sabatage the compltion of a new line beliving these engines where nothing more than monsters but this would come at horrible price she was killed by a run a way wagon bumped by one of its new engines ....a few months had passed affter the incdent and one rainy night the engine was involved in a serious accdent the engine's gaurd inststed on that she saw a woman on a nearby siding glareing angrily at the train passed by.... every rainy night more and more incidents would happen untill the day came when the line was closed down and the alleged ghost sightings became less and less untill it became a urban legend.many years latter the branchline was reopened by Sir Topham Hatt the first and had given the branchline to a tank engine named thomas and eventurly toby would be added to the line, in 1955 a tank engine named percy was pulling some trucks one night as it begain to rain and with that came the return of the ghost and its curse
