Finally finished an intial sketch i did months ago last time i was in Glasgow. I'm quite pleased with how this one's come out. The background looks reasonable to me, the characters look good, it's active. The glider's a bit pants, but we all know about my metal textures...As usual, any crit gratefull recieved.

miff. sorry...i'm having trouble articulating it...it's kind of like he's holding himself up by wrist. in the movie (the only form of spiderman i've seen, perhaps in the comics it's different) he usually, uh, throws the web, then sort of lets go and grabs it like a rope. by the time he's let go and grabbed it like you've drawn, i think he's usually with his arms over his head or nearly over his head.
...that's probably not even true and my subconscious is making things up. *goes to corner*

Normally he'd swing down under it, you're right, but there's plenty of times when, like here, he hauls himself up to pop off the end or get out of the way of people shooting at him or what have you...
