Man, I am one for "epic" pictures :'D I don't know what it is about this Particular one but I feel very proud when I look at it. ((The damn fire took nearly all my friggin' time >.<)) And it had it's ups and downs, but overall, it came out exactly as planned.
My idea was to put Private in a place where he had to become the biggest person and step-up to a challenge that may ultimately destroy him. This isn't a Headcanon or anything but in this picture Private is actually a robot/cyborg/something cool XD ((that's why there are cracks and blue light emanating from him)) I don't know, I thought maybe if I could give Private a reason to fight he wouldn't be just "the baby of the group" anymore.

Oh I knew the song! I was saying I needed to listen to it once I saw this picture and read that it was based on/drawn with that song! I love drawing to songs, it's so much easier to do than just doing so in silence. I feel songs trigger thoughts and ideas you wouldn't get from just doodling/sitting there.
