A collaboration between (me) and the always talented with a little verbal assistance from .. enjoy!- - - - - - -
Moments in time when dreams become memories..
When existence becomes remarkable and
nothing seems better than something...
lonely dark corners of our worlds
where even angels dare not tread..
become our home and cry for something
more than this..
Holding inside everything that shames
hiding our faces from glares of strangers..
When that moment arises..from the depths unseen
arises a shimmer, a watcher guided by the wind..
He glides on nights breath guided by silent screams..
Gathering flights of fancy under his wings..
He hold our moments deep in his being..
resting in hearts, careening with the
agony that drives us to the edge...
His eyes pierce through glass..
shattering the coldest of hearts..
and renders you silent as he sweeps
your dreams out from the dark..
his name is hope..his purpose is you..
he waits for those moments..
and anticipates our sadness..
he tarries above beyond what we see..
and waits for his moment..
to shadow you with his wings..
A remarkable poem by
...This is what came to her when seeing the image.. this is a poem about the most unlikely subject... Its amazing how sometimes the tiniest, most subtle detail (in this case the crow, our friend "Magellan") can invoke such emotion and feeling..

thank you, originally tis piece had no snow, and I felt it was very bland..so I decided that with wind, ther coudl be snow, and I think it really made it "pop" ..im glad you agree
and that castle was a mofo to make, because originally here was an iron fence that I had to clone out (6 1/2 hours straight of cloning, if you saw the fence you would know why)

i had to comment again...i had to
it really interests me to see how other people view the same picture and can see
so many different things..
i read through the comments, and saw a lot of comments regarding power..
when i looked at this i didn't see power at all..not in the woman anyways.
She seems at the end of her rope, ready to let go, that moment of peace and clarity right before
you just can't take it anymore...that second your at the edge, and you feel all hope is gone.
you know where i see the power..i see strength in the bird...the small little friend..the unexpected helper thats holding
her hand and her heart whispering silent comforts and hope into her darkest moment..
Dark moments in life arent always about tears and pain. Theres those few split second when clarity strikes, and
relinquishment of self settles in...and you feel theres just nothing left, no where to go but down..
The woman is the lesser part, she's scenery to my eyes, theres a story and a whole world going on around her.
The way Magellan is looking up at her, soothing her in ways she doesnt even recognize yet..
his kind eyes waiting for her to step back, waiting for her to open up so he can cradle her sorrow
and bring back her dreams she thought were buried somewhere unknown..
the snow, tells me things. It shows coldness. the bitter icy feeling of numbness, when
nothing can effect you, nothing moves you, and it seems to rain down on you, and your helpless to it.
The castle is also telling.
You know the cliche', building castles in the sky, we build them, climb up, or try to climb up,
and in the rare chances we make it there, the time it takes for us to get there
we realize most of the time..it wasn't what we wanted to begin with, or it's not what
we quite need anymore..
this piece has levels, and depth and that's what intrigues me. When i saw this
it sparked something in my imagination and made me feel something..made me see
beyond what my eyes were TRYING to show me..
And thats art...
