Warming up my drawing skills, tried a bit simpler style or so I intended ...

重の色目(kasane no irome)= layer colours 'combination', here is: 黄菊 (kigiku) chrysanthemum yellow, though it's an autumn colour layering, but I didn't know it when I saw it. So dunno how seasonally accurate Mida's garb is in comparison, just so wanted to draw that deep blue (I guess it's uwagi). Funny how Farrvaarh ends up with red garb again. ^^ Of course, there are plenty of other stunning combinations, why do I find myself drawing the red ones...? X'D

Well, I enjoy drawing Farrvaarh in these garbs, maybe more than she does, being in the 'silk heaven' hehe... I've not drawn so many images of them together, but the two are truly close (although not at first).

Usually it's said there to be at least two dressers, and the folks say you need a dresser for modern kimono. But I found a nice "speed dressing kimono" video online, apparently the dress schools even hold competitions on that, and there the person puts on the kimono by herself! Which kind of blew that myth from my mind, you couldn't do it alone, you can, but it takes skill... And so I thought Mida can dress Farrvaarh alone, it's just much more work. And, it's not even karaginumo/juunihitoe here, just 五衣 (itsutsuginu=five layer 'costume') and maybe uwagi on top.

The pattern features chrysanthemum flowers and is called chou.

If you've seen those dressing videos it takes like 20-30min or something to add all the layers with the formal garb.
