Ahadi was always proud to introduce his sons to visiting dignitaries, especially his heir, Mufasa. This time, the young cubs were instructed to sit and wait, while the Lion Guard escorted some allies from a neighboring Pride over. They knew not to speak unless spoken to and to mind their manners.
"...And these are our sons." Ahadi continued "Mufasa here is our eldest and heir to Priderock. He is strong, caring and has a heart of gold. I have no doubt he will be an amazing King and is destined for greatness." Their father puffed out his chest, ready to boast more about the golden cub.
Queen Uru however did not give him the opportunity and interjected. "And of course this is Taka, our youngest and future leader of the lion guard. He doesn't have to rely on brawn, since he is quite cunning and quick on his feet. I'm certain he will greatly impact the Pridelands and go down in history, he is quite ambitious after all." Their mother said with a kind, prideful voice.

I like to think that Ahadi and Mufasa were close, an unintentional favored son. Meanwhile Taka was a mama's boy. Of course they were both loved by their parents, these things just happen.
