Description Some notes and studies from Hampton's figure drawing book. I understand the asymmetry part, but have a lot of trouble applying repetition to create rhythm. Pointers would be much appreciated.

want help with rhythm? grind doing gestures in a minute an hour a day then you will get the hang of it.

Cool, just keep pushing it! I already applied and sent in my portfolio, it was an intense battle and constant practice. I actually put up my portfolio up on tumblr [link] . I've gotten a lot better compared to the stuff I have here on dA. I personally do a lot of hampton stuff as well as bridgeman over at my SB at conceptart [link] .

Thanks m8, keep up the studies. I wanted to ask whether or not you have an account on CA or not? Not trying to say anything about dA but I mean you meet a lot of like minded who are super serious at studying and practicing the arts to become pro.

don't sweat it about not being good enough there are a wide range of levels there, it's really all about self-improvement. Check this out for example, it's very inspiring "Journey of An Absolute Rookie" [link]
