Hampton Court, 2003.I love this photo. I played a tiny bit with the levels, but to be honest it was pretty perfect originally. The lighting on that day was so dramatic -- it started raining literally a few seconds after I took this shot.
Thank you very much to gilad for his support in having this photo as one of his spotlights.

Some say all photographs are moments frozen in time, but to me most just look like the space in between two blinks. This looks like time actually stood still for you to take the shot. Incredible, amazing, and beautiful just don't say enough. Well done.

I love the way this is both at the same time complex and simple. I like the shapes between the branches and how each of the water droplets seems ~bright~.

Belated thanks! This was a dream situation to photograph really, the sky behind being so dark, but the sunlight still so strong behind me really helped highlight those water droplets as they fell. Very glad you liked the photo!
