Description My best friend, Philippa. This was taken when I went to visit her in Dublin in 2004 -- this was actually her real facial expression, not a pose. We had been waiting for a bus for nearly an hour, and were both bored and tired and cranky. Her eyes are actually very unusual, one blue-ish, one green-ish, but funnily enough in the transfer here they ended up violet-hued. I like the effect anyway, I think she's a stunning girl and her eyes are amazing.

Thank you! I think the photo itself needs tweaking. I might crop it again to get rid of that slight black edge on the right (it was the bus stop sign, I have already cropped it off but evidently left a bit), and then perhaps see if I can add a very thin black background. I'm not great at all that lovely tidying up/finishing off stuff that is so important for good presentation of digital photography, but I'll work on it!
