Finally, another chapter!! This is the first illustration for chapter 21 of Conflicted Omens: "Of Cake and Reprieve". I know, silly title. Anyhow, the archangels have arrived. Gabriel is confronting Fell, aka Aziraphale. Enjoy!

Fell held his sword tightly and with a swoosh, it ignited again. Flames lept to the life across the blade, from hilt to tip. Gabriel gazed down at Fell, at the carefully arranged clothes smeared with soot and blood, then at the demon in snake form curled around the leather shoes and the burned, dirty face of the Principality looking up at Gabriel from under the messy blond curls. There was fire in Fell’s blue eyes, a fire Gabriel had not seen since the war in Heaven. It was a fire the archangel would be proud to have on his side. But it was not on his side.
