Here's a remake of the very first Raskolnikov drawing I ever loaded to DA (aww nostalgia
) It's university Raskolnikov vs. post-extraordinary-theories-and-poverty-dropout Raskolnikov. As you can see, I have still not entirely figured out how his hair works.

Aww glad you like it!! Yeah, pre-breakdown Raskolnikov is def interesting to think about; my headcanon is that university Rodya mostly kept to himself and that even Razumikhin was more like an acquaintance than a friend (which would make it even better that Dmitri immediately drops everything to nurse some crabby guy he doesn't know that well back to health)
