Though I have no idea what this is for I love the drawings and I think it's a good way to throw some information about yourself out there into the world.

It's for the original character tournament (OCT) in the link, which is one of a kind in that it features the actual artist alongside the characters.
It's a better way to self-promote than memes anyway.
