A birthday gift forUsually when I draw Cammy, it's usually comical & cute. I do this because Cammy is a very serious character, with a dark past and the character seems rather intimidating when she speaks. Usually characters like these are fun to joke about when seeing them do something you don't expect.Β
However this time I wanted to focus on the tense personality of Ms.White. I wanted to make something a bit more serious using the character, while at the same time base the design off her new SFV model...to an extent. Her attire was majorly based off her SFV self. Which isn't hugely drastic from her classic look.Β
The only issue I had was with Cammy's eyes. As in SFV her eyes have become a bit paler, which I actually preferred her more sapphire blue eyes myself. The colors were based off her SFV design for the most part however. And I wasn't sure what kind of background to put her in so I kept a basic Green.

I happened to find this while stalking Cammy on google images. Of course I had to click on my buddy's work.
A consistently well-done chibi by you. They've done some tweaks on her face since the E3 reveal, and it was for the better in my opinion. Though, as someone stated: "I'm surprised they haven't fixed that vacuum hole of a belly button."
Also, they made her breasts exponentially larger from previous games. Normally I like this but I think they went overboard.

Yeah, it is a weird effect. Like their clothes are struck to their skin. I see this commonly incomic books too. Even smash bros do this which I found weird. I always assumed it was a means to display how muscular a character is. That they have so much muscle it can't be contained in their clothes, lol.
And yeh, I kinda noticed the size increase as well. Same with chunli. But its much more noticeable on cammy. Cammy always felt more like she'd be more slender in terms of her anatomy, due to how fast she moves. I'm not usually into cpntraversal subject like these, but I do agree, I do feel they exaggerated her chest a bit this time.

Cammy's leotard is traditionally tight, which makes sense considering that her fighting style requires her to be aerodynamic. However, it looks like she's wearing latex this time around.
Yeah, she always looked as if she had almost no fat on her body whatsoever, which as you mentioned before was intentionally made to be a stark contrast from Chun-Li. Now the difference is minimizing, which I do not like.

Yeah, the characters are starting to look a bit similar in terms of anatomy. Though Chun-li's legs are the one thing keeping the difference. Im not complaining to much, but I kinda liked the previous designs. Cammy felt more natural with her sleek design.Β

Yeah, the game looked a lot darker at the start.
Speaking of which, Necalli was a lot darker during his concept stage. I just found out he was originally going to be a cannibal. They changed it to keep the teen rating.

Its actually a game for my 3DS. It's called pokemon art academy, the label is side ways on the top right. Lol
The program teaches multiple methods on how to approach the pictures you draw. I actually developed this one myself. It's sorta based off the mvc3 style of shading.

I have a feeling they'll bring Abel back, too. If they already added Nash and probably will add Guile, too, Abel has to be there. It would add SO MUCH to the plot!

It would cause charlie links to several characters such as chunli, cammy, Abel and guile. He was chunli's partner in crime during alpha, Cammy's aid in canon spike, Guile's bff, and supposedly Abel's friend. To see how this old allies react to his new form would cause some interesting story plots.

Which is why Abel has to be included in the roster, otherwise I won't bother looking at the game.
