This is Gigantopithecus, a large ape from prehistoric Vietnam and China.It lived in the Cenozoic Era and possibly fed on fruit and bamboo. Gigantopithecus was related to that of modern orangutans and was also the largest ape to possibly live on Earth, being around 9 - 10ft high while standing on itβs hind legs.
