Aaaw that's so not awesome! In general, I think RNG in FE14 is way worse than in FE13 for example... I mean, how damn often miss attacks with >90% hit rate and whatnot... Or <10% crits... Not that I'd mind them that much, but still, I get them a bit too often...
But well, I know it's kinda cheating, but with My Castle battles and this new skill inheritance system, you can easily get Aptitude on every character, so I guess if a unit gets fucked too hard by RNG, I'd just put Aptitude on them

Skill stealing is sin and I would never do it.
I feel like it's such a cheap and dishonorable way to play the game. Gosh golly, if I want skills, I am gonna get them legitimately!! Aptitude is especially cheap because it's supposed to be Mozu only. Besides, most of my units are already Lv 20 promoted or close to it, so it's too late for Aptitude anyway.
But I can agree with you on the shit RNG thing. The shining epitome of all shit RNGs I've ever seen was when my brother was playing and Kaze missed two 98's. IN A ROW. He had to reset the chapter. Since then, we've referred to every instance someone misses a 90 or higher as a "Kaze moment." Lol

I did that in Awakening and it was soooo much work! But also, when I finally got the skills I needed, I was so happy ^^
So yeah, it really is like cheating... But on the other hand, one example... I'm still suuuper pissed Tiki doesn't have any reclassing options giving her access to an active battle skill (such as Sol/Luna/Vengeance, you get which ones I mean) and you only hear her absolutely ravishing crit clips (I just love her voice soo much! It's like aural gold to me, I'm not kidding 
Also, when I read this "golly" in your reply, I couldn't help but say it in Anthony del Rio's Pit/Percy voice
