Memories

I wake up in the morning and I brush my teeth
In the mirror I see your eyes loking back into mine
longingly.

I sit at my couch, drinking coffee and I see you
sitting next to me.. laughing at our memories of the
coffee table.

I go to lunch, and I pass the mall, remembering
Christmas, and I go to a reteraunt, and I remember our
times there.

I visit my friends, and I remember proudly introducing
you as my friend, and my love.

I go and have some coffee, and I remember your
patients.

I return home feeling down, alone, and self-pittiful.
Later that night, I lay in bed remembering the first
time we expressed our love... and the last.

These are my days now that I am without you.
Bitter/sweet memories and feelings of joy and
happiness, sorrow and remorse.

I am constantly haunted with joy and pain, love and
hate.

Do I wish these memories away?
Yes.
Do I wish these memories to stay?
Yes.
