Description Just to prove I'm still alive

Had this sketch for a while, from time I was re-playing NWN module 'A Dance with Rogues' in autumn. After all, since I've drawn my Princess, I couldn't leave her Nemesis out, could I (Ah, the preciousness of old blocky graphics, you can imagine any face details you want )

Vico (human, rogue/warrior/blackguard, chaotic evil) and 'A Dance with Rogues' (c) Valine

adwr is one of the most exquisitely crafted and engrossing stories ever committed to game form, although it maaaaaybe didn't need to have *quite* so much nudity - it really didn't need to keep my interest. fantastic pic of vico.

wonder whatever happened to the mysterious author, valine? would have liked to have seen more of her work...

Since there's been no updates to the mod since... what, 2010?... I guess Valine sort of lost interest in it. A shame, though, I wish she modified act II to match 'updated' act I

I think it's hard to be fond of him But of all the chars in the game he was one of most thought-through and developed, story-wise - so I sort of stuck with him

Almost everyone I really liked in that game died, vanished or was gay or asexual ... I am having a love-and-hate relationship with ADwR (which is fitting somehow).

I understand that. On this drawing he is attractive, too.

The story and atmosphere are awesome, but I got annoyed after some time. When I had to sneak around naked for the Xth time ... it also got too much with getting bashed, raped or treated like an idiot ...

I know what you mean After so many games where some sort of romantic endeavour is something you have to work hard for, in ADwR I was running around with a 'seriously, is there anyone who DOESN'T want to fuck me? Anyone?'

Well, the tea shop owner didn't. And Caron never got the chance (I would have taken him ...). In other games you not only have to work hard for the romances, in HotU "it" never happens. I remember that I let Valen run around naked, just because ...!
