“Nut-Face”, “Chin-Sack”, and every other variation of this insult has been hurled at Nightmare by Jecra (And the others). In fact, Jecra rarely calls Nightmare by his name.
”Bright Eyes” is Jecra’s go to affectionate nickname for Meta Knight. No one else can get away with calling him it. Not that Jecra fared well himself the first 500 times he insisted on calling Meta Knight “Bright Eyes”, Meta Knight claims he got fed up with having to throw things at Jecra’s stupid face when he did it.
But he secretly likes it.
On the other hand, Garlude calls Jecra “Knuckle Head” to tease him when he’s done something daft, is slow, or late. It’s how Joe got the “Knuckle” nickname tagged onto his name, although Joe is his actual name.
Right now in the comic: Garlude “died” first. Jecra hasn’t seen her alive since the morning in camp before Meta Knight and Garlude left to reclaim Galaxia. This means that Garlude has no idea what has happened to the others, so simply relieved to see them, and isn’t shocked to see them alive.
