Often times the lack of detail is what accentuates the beauty of simplicity. Certain pictures are perfect without having to be completely detailed. This is one of them. It instilled a nostalgic feeling in my heart--very good job.

haha oh my gosh... i saw this on someone's +fav list and i have to show it to my friend... i know she'll say it looks like me! (as a little girl of course) it's become a bit of a game for us to spot my look-a-likes as i don't look like anyone we've seen... funny but all my look-a-likes we've seen so far have been drawings... like you needed to know any of that

This is very nice, love the coloring, the overall composition, and her pretty little mouth, nose and eye. (The bear should have a mechanical eye socket, too, LOL!)

This is beautiful! I don't think there's any lack of details (in fact I love details, so it's just bizarre for me not to want more details.) Hehe. The eye is really captivating, I love the penetrating and somewhat melancholic gaze. There's almost something nostalgic about it. The hair, the color scheme, and dear gods that necklace are gorgeous! I'm especially in love with that necklace.

it hardly lacks detail at all...at least the backround looks great and so does his facial features. he has such a serene expression, considering his eyes bleeding

This lacks no necessary detail. It is absolutely perfect, the most beautiful thing in your gallery and surpassing the contents of many others... The slightly mournful quality to her expression combined with the sepia tone and the past and future visual cues make this seem like a moment locked in a memory jar, sunlight fading the contents, obscuring the darkness within her eyes. This is breathtaking...
