i have tried a little 3D, we learn it at college... have you heard of cinema 4D?
its not that hard to use

my pictures will never be as good as this tho

Yes i have heard of Cinema 4D, i think they got the wounderful feature that you can pant textures directly in the program on to the 3d model... or at least they got the same developer

Do as i have, i have learned every thing on my own reading tutorials and experimenting! Do so and you gona become much beter then me!

It looks a lot like the glass texture, maybe give it a slight blueish hue and give it a hint of opacity, just a tad would probably distinguish the two materials

Probably gota change the water model abit to, it makes a huge differens if the water model is tutching the glas or if its next to it...

Im glad you like it The simplest scenes is often the hardest to gett right because you can't hide any misstakes!
(Its made in 3DS Max R7 whit VRay 1.46)
