Looks really cool. I also got the Me 262 vibe as well, partly due to the large turbojets underwing, and partly due to the camouflage scheme, which is reminiscent of WW2 German patterns.
However, I have one small piece of criticism: while the engine layout, swept wing design and T-style tail is all well and good for a 50s-early 60s jet (and that period only), the frontal part of the fuselage, the whole area around the cockpit, looks way too modern for the timeframe. Curves were simpler, more pronounced and less "fluid", so to speak, and the SF-198's front section looks right out of a Su-27 or MiG-29, planes which didn't see the light until the late 1970s.
At any rate, I love your gallery. Keep up the good work!

I forgot to say this in my last comment, but this also reminds me of the Sud-Ouest Vatour, which was used by France as all-weather fighter from 1956-1973, also used as a fighter-bomber by Israel in the Six-Day War of 1960. It had a similar configuration to this, but with some differences in layout.

Interesting. Before this moment I don't knew about Sud Aviation Vautour, thanks for information. I'll read about it

Really cool - someone already mentioned the Me262 but the big underslung turbines immediately made me think of that. There was also an early American bat-wing jet called... what was it, the Cutlass? F-7 I think. Similar wing configuration, only the jets were in the fuselage. Really great design and presentation!
