I'm never going to stop being mean to Kia XDPractise doodles of *Star-Reacher 's Professor Rainer. Who gives Kia cases of serious brainfreeze.
One thing I notice about most of the winx OCs with a crush on a teacher (usually it's Palladium) is that their owners will write something like "She's not been brave enough to tell him." I wouldn't say Kia's an exact opposite to that; but she actually understands her crush is totally inapropriate and really messing up her concentration (she has to re-study whatever they did at night since she can't take a word in when he's there). She wouldn't DREAM of saying anything about it and is waiting impatiently for it to go away.
She needs to find a specialist so I can stop drawing her pine, but it's too fun XD
Also trying to work out some Merish letters here and there. Merish words look like little stacks of lines with marks on them, since instead of writing horizontally, individual words are written vertically and across like

The best doodle is clearly the bottom left one (I need to stop letting Kia's angst hog my doodle pages. Maybe it'll get re-made as a full size comic). Professors Avalon, Wizgiz and Palladium get on Rainer's case about his choice of button shirts and knit vests.
Rainer: Haha seriously guys F OFF
Avalon: We're serious, you need to get a proper suit.
Wizgiz: Yeah, we know you're just out of teacher training, but that's not an excuse!

To be honest, I don't support any pairings with Palladium. The only one I'm vaguely okay with is Palladium x Avalon which I don't ship, since I'm not into BxB. I can at least accept that one, though, since there is at least a little bit of canon basis, however teensie. XD

She's a sensible girl, at least. The unrealistic nature of student teacher relations is something that sometimes annoys me, especially in a number of shoujo manga, since both characters seem really quick to accept it.
I think the major thing was that poisonous plant scene, but that was with the fake Avalon, wasn't it? I can't seem to recall any other cases.
He he. Thanos is a funny character and it's rather a long story so I don't really mention much about it here on DA. Basically, Calixte is the reincarnated princess that was his previous "girlfriend" of sort from ages ago and all sorts of drama happened in between but now they're a couple. XD

Yeah...You see the same problem with a lot of OCxCanon or just non-canon pairings, like Bloom with Baltor. Often there isn't much thought in it beyond putting two characters together, and the relationship is unrealistic from the start...

Very true, I agree! And as I think I've mentioned earlier, those type of pairings often aren't as 'crack' as they out to be, either. So many fan pairings have the canon character(s) act out of character, or at least without any serious regard for the situation of the relationship.
Well, shippers will jump at even the slightest hint, so it's no wonder. I consider it to be kinda crack, though. XD

XD, I guess that's what happens with ships that aren't *quite* cannon. The truth is, I actually can see some Bloom x Valtor material from a few episodes, but I still rather dislike the pairing.

I remember, for example, the hair twirl type thing, and Valtor mulling over who Bloom was. It annoys me how all the villains are fixated on Bloom for some reason (except season 4, I think, but I haven't watched that).
I was thinking maybe I'd do some ValtorxDaphne in my own style but that would probably be faaarrrrr off.

Nah, I'm not avoiding spoilers for it, but I guess it just hasn't generated as much interest for me. Personally, I don't really like the whole concept of Believix and bear a kind of personal grudge against it. Season five looks promising, though.
I've really been wondering what a pretty couple they'd make, but Daphne has to be shrunk down. XD I'm definitely interested in anybody's take on it, though. I don't think the Winx fandom has enough crack pairings. Wow ValtorxBlind Layla (Aisha now). I have nothing to say to that. So much potential pervertedness. >.<

Not like she doesn't have plenty of reasons for that...He's involved with messing up her planet and getting her killed, and then tries to hurt her little sister and the rest of the Magical dimension.
I was thinking of something like the first time they would probably meet; Valtor and the Ancestresses chasing her through Sparx as she tries to get her baby sister to safety XD So not quite shipping....
Mmmmm. Certainly not enough crack pairings that aren't BloomxHot Male Villain. Not that that is necessarily bad, but there are more characters to play with if you're going the crack route :3
Yeah XD I blame Florence and the Machine. I had been listening to them when I drew that Bloom/Valtor piece. Cosmic Love suddenly connected Blind Layla and Valtor for me, even though there is nothing to connect them in the show XD
Songfics are not usually very good, as the song is usually all that holds the premise together, and the song's content often forces the characters thrown in to become quite OOC....But I'm probably not writing it, just drawing one picture for the crack value XD

I see. It really annoys me when the entire season isn't available. I'd rather not start, in that case. I'm not too worried about Nick's involvement, too be honest. I've never been a major fan of the plot itself since it seems to only be able to go one way. There was some things in Nick's specials that were not quite right but the whole emphasis on BloomxAvalon, in my opinion, redeemed it. I'm definitely not a fan of the pairing but it was amusing to watch Sky squirm. The flowers on table at breakfast, I'm especially glad they kept in, since that was one of highlights of (fake) Avalon for me. XD
I've never watched any of the movies so I don't really know. It bugs me when the female isn't shorter than the male in a relationship, though, and I think giantesses are definitely too niche. You never know, though. Maybe Daphne has a secret grudge against Bloom as an older sister? Bloom getting the Dragon Flame and all, and her having to sacrifice herself to protect her sister. XD Don't the family get restored in one of the movies, as well?
True, there's definitely very little material between them, but it's fun to make believe. Bloom seems to be the favourite of most fans, so I'm not surprised that she's used most commonly.
Oh, I get that too. I can't say I've ever heard of any of the names you mentioned, though, unfortunately. Generally I try to think through whether or not the music actually fits the situation of characters, though. That, and I have some pretty obscure music. I've yet to actually do anything inspired by a song, though.

Heh...I have yet to watch the other specials cause the first made me grimace a bit. I tried not to be uptight about it, but I failed...If the season 2 ones aren't bad I will have a go with them though. Fake Avalon was so much fun :3
I watched the movies, and yes the family gets restored :3 Except for Daphne because she actually died, I think. The rest of the family can all see her glowy nymph form though, so it was still a reunion.
Ah, and I didn't mean it like that....I meant that I could actually see her stomping on him in giant form because she was so angry at him. But more like a silly thing.
Hmmmm, you know, that could work....She seems so mellow XD Maybe being dead takes it out of her, but the feelings could well be there.

Ah, okay. I've stopped watching the episodes on line in the hopes that they'd come to my country, as they have been for others, but so far I've not gotten past the specials and I don't know if the actual seasons will air. I was hoping for season 4 especially, but the time it's played might cause problems, even if it does come here.
I personally thought the specials weren't too bad. One thing that did irk me a little bit is that they took away the already almost non-existent focus on any of the other characters, since they were so condensed. *Minor Spoiler Warning*One small thing that I also found amusing though, was that they decided to have Darkar turn into fake Avalon himself rather than one of his lackeys.
I think Daphne sacrificed herself to save Bloom, or something like that? Maybe? Still, I think it is rather unfortunate for her that she wasn't revived. Well, a crack pairings is crack so anything could happen, really. XD
For some reason, I get a bit of a stern perfectionist vibe from Daphne, though I haven't really seen the episodes involving her for a while, nor have I seen the movies, so I could be way off.

She's pretty cute in the second movie, trying to creep Bloom out by hiding and whispering her name, but that may just be her on a relaxed day with only her sister. But I could be way off too XD We don't have much of her to go by...

I thought the reason Daphne glowed was because she was a nymph? I was under the impression that she had pretty much always been a nymph, or at least had been for a long time. Unless she died of illness or something in her youth and then was revived as a nymph, then continued to live with her family on Domino until it was destroyed. o.O
I see. I never knew that. It does give rise to the idea that maybe she's a troll, though. Like Celestia from MLP:FiM. At least, that's what I'd like to think.

Oooooh, that would be interesting...I always sort of assumed she had died, then became a nymph. But of course, Bloom got as glowy as her when she was in those dragon fury moments, so that makes sense to me, if Daphne was at the hieght of her powers or just so close to them all the time, she probably would have glowed while alive too...
...I was going to disagree with that, but she does have a disturbing ammount of similar habits as Celestia XD

Maybe we have different understandings of what happened, then? Maybe I just convinced myself of all this and I guess I could be wrong. XD I had always thought that Daphne became a nymph rather than a fairy and that explained her magic, while Bloom took a different path entirely.
True, I never really thought about that. I guess I just assumed that she couldn't help, being dead and all. Has she ever actually done anything besides talk to Bloom? I also assumed that Daphne never possessed the Dragon Flame, as it was designated for Bloom. I'm not really sure where I got that logic from but I was always under the impression it was was passed down from mother to daughter, so only one child in a family could ever possess it? ^_^;
I guess now that I think about it I don't really have any proof.
