I understood the metaphor aspect of the cartoon and I also found it funny (and better served here than your previous lycanthrope one). Still, I sometimes can't turn off that 'logic' center of my brain.
Anywho, as far as me being from PA, I'm a Flyers guy straight through. I was born in Philly and lived my entire life in its shadow. Interesting question from someone living in South America. May i ask why you were wondering?

I'm a die-hard Anaheim fan (and not because those films) and a hockey lover in general - not only NHL. Didn't you notice the girl is in a Hartford Whalers t-shirt? 
I used to keep a blog on NHL.com and to write to a hockey e-magazine, the only one in Southern Hemisphere. We ceased activities by the end of last post-season. Hockey is still my favorite sport though.

I'm with your straight up on Anaheim. FOr me it started because of the movies (the first one came out when I was in 4th grade)but since it's just become a team I've always loved. But hands down I'm Flyers. I actually just got a Jagr Winter Classic jersey. I friggin' love it. It looks awesome next to my Donald breashear, Eric Lindros, 2 Brind'Amours and a LeClair. I'm saving my money for a Ducks jersey. no name, just the jersey. I don't care what people think of it around here, I love my ducks like I love my Red Sox.
It's a shame your hockey mag went out. i have subscribed if i was able to (I'm a writer myself, not for sports). This is despite my shitty writing in my responses. I assure you my written published work is much better.
