Don't worry, it's a Yu-gi-oh series, so characters always just come back to life anyway! XD In GX, my favourite character, Hell Kaiser Ryo Marufuji, died of a heart attack, but then he just came back alive in the next season for no adequately explained reason! It was lovely to have him back, but it would have be nice to have an explanation of WHY he was back! XD

My theory is that characters just fall in and out of plot holes! XD There are SO many mistakes and gaps with the plot, that a few characters are bound to be misplaced! XD

Oh yes, they do that, but usually it's explained when they do that. But Ryo had a heart attack and THEN got sent to another dimension when his heart had already stopped beating! XD All the bad things tend to happen to him!

They can do that, y'know.. make it so some other dimension has some weird properties..

And you are probably right about the other dimension thing; I only wish that the anime had actually SAID 'It was being sent to the alternate dimension that saved him' rather than have him just wash up on the beach and his nurse saying "It's great to have him back!" There are various disturbing theories on how he got there, my favourite one being that he is secretly a merman! XD I mean, he was gone for a long time, and then he washes up on the shore unconcious! Wouldn't he.. Like... Drown or something? Especially since he already had a heart attack, his body wouldn't exactly be in a good way for him to be able to swim back! Jeez, he ends up in a wheelchair after that! That's how unwell his body is! XD I love the illogical-ness of GX. Earlier in the series, one of the teachers dies, and their pet cat eats their soul!
This one fan's brief explanation of what happens in GX: 'Around episode 24 or 25 Manjoume returns with polar bear wrestling and a school full of fanboys; shortly after that interdimensional gravekeeper hijinks ensue, followed instantly by random Peruvian cult references, lonely soulsucking vampire cheesecake, lovesick catladies, and other associated WTF (like the dead gay egyptian and ALCHEMY LAWL). They're still at Duel Academy for most of this though; they don't all randomly end up in another dimension turning into zombies and/or chasing the ambiguously gay german until season 3, with Yubel and genocide. Season 2, which starts at 52 or 53 or something, is great for tarot craziness and quoting the Bible, as well as alien dolphins. And a guy who thinks he's a dinosaur.'
