Friend commissioned this beast for her grandpa, who has a tendency to snap lesser knives, and has hands like the legendary wood ape.Blade is 5160 from a leaf spring thats been differential tempered to have a soft spine and hard edge, and has been rust blued. Guard is whitetail deer antler. Handle is hickory coated in linseed oil. Sheath is vegetable tanned leather.
