I am horrifically, bitterly, and most callously jealous of this alicorn. Why, nature? Why oh why on Earth did you equip humanity with such a painfully desperate longing to take to the skies, and yet not give us any wings or even merely a flimsy little layer of gliding skin 'round the arms and legs to satisfy our desires?
I can hardly understand why mankind has bestowed a title such as "'Mother' Nature" to the natural order of things, as it has been ever so cruel to us - especially for a supposedly maternal figure! D:

We may not have wings, but we are able to do just about anything else. We can swim, run, make machines, kill the mightiest of beasts, tame any creature, eat anything we desire, travel at high speeds via safe and comfortable vehicles and fly using flying vehicles. Unfortunately, our intelligence causes us to become hateful and jealous of others, which causes race ending wars and extinction causing cullings of "pest" species.

The Chronicles of Lunarstar (Not the name of the story of course xD) was the first story I ever read on the internet. I found it back when it was only at 12 chapters written and posted on the pony wallpaper studio site! And now it's complete at almost 500 chapters with a side story about Star Cluster. My god, I love that story and kept watch for new chapters from it every week, and now I watch for the comics she's making about the story.
I love seeing her in your style Crispy. I've watched you for a long time and love all your works. But seeing Luna here is truly glorious. It's like the more works I see from you the more I find in common with you, even though we've never actually talked to each other.
You'll probably never read this comment since I know you're busy, making works as beautiful and extraordinarily detailed as this. But this really is amazing. And before I favorite it and move on as I usually do, I wanted to leave a comment telling you so.
Seeing this picture brings back nostalgia like you wouldn't believe. It's been so long since I read the story about Lunarstar and it was a story that really influenced me as I grew through my teen years. It was hard because for a long time I literally had no friends I could trust, and reading about Luna was one of the only things I had to look forward to every week. And now, much like she is in your picture, I'm flyin' high like no one ever would've dreamed I could, happier than anyone could imagine. Thank you for drawing a picture of a character that to me is like an old friend.
