A somewhat old commission for shayahna of his character Marcy.i took me long enough to finish this.

I've always just sketched things and never really got to do linearts because I always felt like it wasnt good enough

lot of the character in the sketch gets lost when it gets lineart in my opinion.

I mean, whenever I try to do a lineart I always end up either giving up half way or finishing it entirely and thinking it looks bad and just garbaging it.

Maybe just try sketching it and work on it till you like it.
There are some pieces that I've left for several months undone and came back to them later.
Most artists have some bad ruts in art and think their art is garbage but the thing is, you've made it so far. you can draw. No matter if you see someone better than you or not. You shouldn't expect yourself to draw a mona lisa right off the bat. (Leo took 10 years to finish that thing)
