This is gorgeous, how much did it cost you to make? And where do you get the toggles from?

In total about 60 euros in materials. But looking back at it now, I could have easily done it for 50. I just wasn't too sure about the measurements, so I figured id rather get too much than too little. I got the toggles from the same shop where I go my fabric from.

Oh wow well that sounds reasonable for such a beautifully made cloak. I need to make some for this Dark Project I'm working on, so all of this inspiration and advice is really great

Well to give you a better breakdown of everything; 37 for the woolen fabric, 17 for the decorative edge, 6 for the toggles. So you could save a heck of a lot by choosing a different kind of decorative edge. The pattern would depend on what you're going to use the cloak for. If it's for keeping warm and concealing (like mine is,) I'd advise going for a 3/4th of a circle, if it's for simply keeping you warm while you're working (re-enactment work around a camp-site) I'd advise a shorter 1/2 circle.

Ahhh, well that does sound roughly what I would require. I'd need to find a descent fabric, I'd love wool but I would need to find the right sort of wool for a descent price.

Ah yes you're quite right there. Especially for a cape/cloak. thicker wool would be better due to the wear and tear it would be exposed to especially at the bottom, from your feet, dirt, the floor, etc etc. And especially now in the summer season (assuming you live in the northern hemisphere) wool is very hard to find. But I wish you the best of luck anyway ^^.
