This oil painting is going back abit. Towards the end of my fine art painting degree I got into the artwork of Adrian smith in a big way. I especially adore his chaos space marine paintings for gamesworkshop. After doing acouple of studies of his Thousand son and Plague Marine paintings I did this one of my own of an Iron warrior war smith. Done in oils none the less!www.artofthomaselliott.com/

If Adrian Smith ever sees this, and isn't impressed a little, then I think he might be crazy. This looks so much like his artwork.

Awesome! Having work confused with one of the Gods of Sci-fi is no bad thing! Yeah with this piece I had done a study of his Icon Thousand son picture so was well up for creating a spiky super detailed badass of my own!
