Description More of an anti-armor 'borg, really, but then it wouldn't be a play on words...Not that "Snypborg" is a very elegant one.

Given what I've posited about cyborg construction recently, very little of the 'borg's actual anatomy is visible here. I like to think that most of the limbs and appendages we see here are modular and wholly mechanical "after-market" additions that the 'borg controls via direct neural interface. It's also possible that these features contain some biological elements but can be swapped out at will and are not part of the 'borg's core anatomy. ("What do you call a 'borg with no arms and no legs in the ocean? Cynk!")

The articulated, segmented appendages like the "lobster" tail and that tentacular arm are ammo-loading and shell extraction accessories--which seems odd considering that the gun appears to be some kind of energy weapon...Let's say it's a linear accelerator, then, or maybe a laser that requires frequent capacitor replacement...?

Some of these other features appear almost redundant to elements that should logically be internal to the 'borg's core morphology, like that microphone pickup near the head. I kind of like that, though, as it reinforces the implication that the weapons and communications systems are something the 'borg "wears," and can discard if necessary. And who knows, maybe all that heavy armor interferes with radio transmission from inside its body, or maybe it has to stay on an externally accessible open channel for reasons of unit protocol.

Woahhhh, there are 2 ways I see this - primarily as a bug tank, but then there is a more subtle secondary overlay, where the borg's body reticulates backward into the distance like a snake or dragon, with a shrimpy cluster of arms in the front under the head.

And dat armored tentacle

WHOOOOAAAH...From that perspective, you could see this one as a detail from a potential expansion of that Naval Myoborg into a full-blown Con Rit...Thanks again man, you've got me thinking!
