I wanted to make some fanart for this game. So I painted a "clicker". These guys have been infected for about a year I think, and have obviously lost their eyesight. He relies on clicking sounds to navigate. Poor guy has fungus growing out of his eye sockets and is basically covered in mould..ew.. So disgusting and disturbing. I was pretty disgusted by this painting the whole time I painted it. But it was a lot of fun. I find painting disgusting things quite enjoyable. I am so excited about this game. I don't have/take time for games anymore, but this one is getting bought so hard. Anyone else excited about this game?More from this series

So, I know this is a pretty late reply, but the clickers are based off of a virus that already exists! It's called cordyceps, and effects bugs and insects, and the fungus actually grows right out of them, I believe. It doesn't necessarily make the creature violent, though. Haha, and obviously it's mutated for humans in the game. Just thought you'd like to know! Or maybe you wouldn't? ;D

yeah i know i looked it up its not smart enough to effect humans yet and i dont think it will effect humans or it might who knows.
nothing has happened yet so far. i mean if it wanted to effect humans it would have done it by now.
but hey im no fungus expert. but nice drawing none the less

I played the game yesterday for the first time and it was very terrifying and disturbing....
I guess the most disturbing thing on these game is, that this fungus-stuff one day (i hope lots of years away) could really happen.....

I loved the game too because of the dense atmophere and story. I think that there is a turn where movies from Hollywood become more and more crap, and the games become more and more kind of an interactive movie. Keep going, i love your pictures mate.
