I remember someone requested more infected, so here's a stalker! Myself, like many others, didn't really take notice of these guys in the game. They are so similiar to runners, but reading up on them made me want to paint one! I was worried that it would look just plain disgusting, with that fungus growing out of the eye socket. Because it gets so much more gross and disturbing when you mix disgusting stuff with very human features. Atleast in my opinion. So I really tried to capture somekind of emotion, and not just go all insane-gross-disgusting. I wanted to convey that this woman is still a bit "in the game" and feels some sort of empathy, together with the incredible pain and discomfort of course.. Like, you can see a glimpse of her human self before she turns into a clicker. I hope you like it, and don't find it too disturbing

I have to be honest, I thought this was like a βwhat ifβ thing where Ellie finally turned into one those things at some point. I think it was the hair that got me. Very well drawn.

I'm not sure if this is intentional, but I think the name 'stalker' is a bit of a pun by the developers; not only do they 'stalk' their victims, but at this stage of infection the fungus has begun to 'stalk' out from their heads. So you can think of the name two different ways

The infected in this game are really interesting. I love the details in this.

This makes me feel so sad. I can only imagine what it must've been like for her to lose her family and go through all of the pain of her transformation. Wish there was a cure for her condition, but sadly there is no such luck :c

I definitely see what you were going for. The fear and emotion in the woman's expression is vividly defined, especially in comparison to the repugnance growing out of her face. This should have been a cover ad for tLoU, it really blends the fear and emotional, scary and disturbing aspects of the game. great job!

Very nice artwork! You managed to balance of what is left of the human side of the host and the creepy fungus slowly taking over quite nicely. You totally nailed this one. This must be my favorite of them all. Very nice done sir. Keep up the good work!

I think this is so well executed - the vileness of the infection, the gruesome living death of the host.
The skill here in getting this creepy feeling is superb!!

Actually they are pretty similar to runners and clickers. Some will actually click in the game, also I find them harder then clickersΒ or runners. I'm shocked that most people didn't really notice them that much in the game, cause they were in one of the hardest levels in the game. (they are super hard on survival)
But I love your artwork! This is my favorite after the clicker.

I don't have trouble with any infected expect stalkers. They aren't in the game much, expect in the sewers and down in that basement area where Joel falls from that elevator and you have to find a way out.
and yes, I heard a couple of them click before. But I'm with you there, the humans always give me a hard time.
