May I ask how you took this picture? The exposure is perfect and I was wondering what you did. Did you use aperture priority or full manual or something else? This picture really is amazing.

As good as our cameras automatic exposition systems, they arent enough fast to mesure the luminosity on a scene as short as this one. You have to set your exposure completly manually if you want to have something not too bright. If i've been in aperture priority, my camera would have keep a too long exposure time, and the picture would have been almost completly white. Take a look on exif informations below to see what kind of setting you must choose for this kind of scene The homogeneity is due to a big work in photoshop, with several layers obtain with different developpements of the RAW. I hope my english is enough clear :/

Thank you for answering and yes your English was great I have always wanted to shoot fire like that...I will have to give it a try sometime.
