Wow, the concept really came out well! Your work is definately blossoming, eventh though they're wonderful from the start. But each time you have taken a picture, each one has something extra. I love this. I think the shadow is fine and adds to it, the only bit I don't like is that sun spot by the pocket. Otherwise, perfect mood and touch.

Hehe, Im not taking lessons either but I can still appreciate lovely work. Shadows show character in pieces. I like shadows. lol.
