the haircut, and the style of clothing...and his eyes too. Some consider them feminine. -_-'

I don't think that slant of eye...even half Russian, lends itself to be the Korean slant. I personally think Near's eyes are the closest to Korean in the entire series. I'm not saying that because I'm Korean and wish to draw one more similarity, but if you examine the shape of the Korean's eyes and then look at Near's, they are more similar than Mello's. I think Mello's eyes (because they are lifted slightly at the corners) are closer to Chinese eyes than Korean eyes. Koreans don't have the small lift in the corners like Mello has.

Hehe...well, it's all up to interpretation of course, but here's a model who is half Russian, half Korean: [link] and here is a comparison pic of Mello: [link]
The levels of eye-slantiness don't seem THAT far from each other. I'll bet genetics probably make the slantiness more or less pronounced, also, depending upon how much Korean and/or Russian ends up in the features. Anyway, Mello's eyes slant a bit more or a bit less depending on the picture of him and the angle he's shown at, but I don't see his eyes are super-slanty, just definitely more almond-shaped.
Then again, you would know about how slanty or not-slanty Korean eyes are, LOL.
Ah, I love speculating about this kind of stuff...

Aww, they've been playing dress up? ^^ Matt was probably busy playing an online dress-up game instead of actually putting a dress on himself, I pressume? XD

...I'm at a loss for words...
This is really well done, and your description of the colors makes me want to see you color this one. Their expressions are perfect, they really portray their characters through their faces and fashion. Speaking of which, your fashion has always been amazing on these characters. I find myself eagerly awaiting what you might put them in next.
Keep up the good work!

That sounds adorable! It reminds me of Lain for some reason. Didn't she have bear pajamas or something in that series?

I got the series on VHS (man I'm old), and one of the tapes is in Japanese with English subs for some reason (I think it's the second tape).

Yeah, but I mean, the case and everything matches up with the others perfectly, so it's almost like it was done intentionally. And given the series, that might very well be the case.
Lain's pretty good little anime, only about thirteen episodes long. Her character would interact with the Wammy's really well, since she's pretty odd herself. It's the story about how the line between the internet and the real world is beginning to disappear, and people with a profound connection to the internet are finding that they can do the same kinds of things in the real world now.

I would recomend (that can't be spelled right) it, it's a little confusing but a good watch.

That list has got to be getting pretty big by now. My own is getting a little out of hand as it is.
