There should be more lore about them than just thier martial skill and traditon though. This goes the same for the Rattataki as well.

Those lips Such sharp but delicate looking features. Great use of a rather reduced palette again that's SO hard to do, IMO. I sure tend to go to extreme, saturated, mismatched colors, and then I try to bring it down to a more compatible mix

Thanks! I was pleasantly surprised by the way this one came out, I have to admit. It's habit for me too to use dark colors with high contrast/saturation.

Thank you so much! I'm thrilled that you're happy with it. There were a lot of aspects of this painting that allowed me to try new things and push myself. Commissions like that tend to be some of my favorites.
