When I found this beautiful Rose-ringed Parakeet / Ringnecked Parakeet in a tree, I almost forgot that I'm living in such a wildlife-poor country

My absolute favourite thing ever is when the parakeets pick off the blossoms in spring. There's a row of trees down my road and when I walk to work it's like a ticker tape parade, it's really pretty. Love this shot
