I was photographing beautiful chess flowers, when a male duck suddenly stepped into the scene.So I quickly changed setting because flowers are wonderful...but flowers & birds are even better

There were so many mallards on my drive to school when we had the weeks of rain and wet. A couple of mallards even made their home in a large puddle in a farm field. I was so sad to see that even as it became drier and the puddle smaller, the mallards didn't leave. They're no longer there, because the puddle is completely gone. I don't see any ducks anywhere on my drive, now.
Mallards are my favourite. This is an amazing photo not just because I love the bird but also because the colours of his head are noticeable. It's not just green; it's more peacocky.
