I deeply apologize to everyone for not making a picture of this adorable pony in such a long time now, I've been focusing so much on making art of pony OCs recently because that's the direction I've been wanting to go for this year but finally, I was able to make a brand new picture of this beloved and adorable pony that I just absolutely love so much!

So I have literally said this in almost every Pear Butter picture I've made in the past but heck I just wanna say it again just to keep it consistent with the other ones. As you all already know, I love Pear Butter very much to absolute no surprise as she is by far my most favorite mother of the mane 6 in the entire series, so much to the point where I have actually thought to myself that every future Pear Butter picture I make, I would try my best to make her look more adorable and highly detailed than the previous pictures I've made of her. And while it may sound easy, this is actually pretty difficult to pull off for me, especially seeing as how my art skills improve more and more in the months that pass by.

As most of you have already noticed, my more recent pictures have been improving which of course no doubt is taking me much longer for me to make and post these pictures on DeviantArt as I'm using some of those details in those pics and I'm trying to put them much into some of my Pear Butter pics as possible, in fact, a lot more than what my previous pictures have and I'll get to that down below but first I want to talk about why in the world did this picture take so long to make and what was I doing in that entire gap between this picture and the previous Pear Butter picture I posted so long ago.

So if anyone remembers the picture I had posted of Starlight Glimmer which had the realistic looking mane a while back, I had thought of applying that to the next Pear Butter picture I would make using the same drawing tablet using the same techniques as how I made Starlight's mane in that picture. However, the way Pear Butter's mane is made had unfortunately caused me to stop making the picture and never touch it again until a couple weeks ago. Again during the gap, I would be adopting ponies and such as well as trying to improve heavily on some of the lighting effects. Then during my deactivation hiatus break from being on here, I had worked on a picture which I had worked on darkening and brightening the outlines of the pony I was working on (which was of Thunder Artist). After I finished that picture, I had remembered the Pear Butter picture I had made and so I decided to back to work on that picture and that's how I got to here so let's now talk about Pear Butter. ^u^

As I mentioned above with the whole outline thing I made in a previous picture I kept to myself, I have decided to use that for my Pear Butter picture but in a much more advanced way so I can make Pear Butter look adorable though when I was working on this, it was actually a heck of a lot more difficult than what I had tried on the unreleased Thunder picture as I had to make individual layers for some parts of Pear Butter in order for this effect to be pulled off. Trust me guys and gals, this was not easy and it took a lot of time for me to make but with enough patience, I was able to finally to use the individual outlines to correctly adjust the brightness or darkness whenever I had applied a lighting effect to that particular spot if that made sense to anyone!

*Sighs* And now I gotta talk about the eyes which I honestly don't wanna bring up but I just have to because I of course want to explain as much as possible.

A while back I had been working on a furry base (and no I am not a furry by any means) which I was using that to test out some lighting samples. Among one of these lighting samples was making the eyes glow in a certain way. I really loved how this effect turned out in that sample picture I was working on a while back and so I decided to apply that effect onto Pear Butter's eyes because why not! She would look much more adorable than before, and having the addition of reflections in her eyes of what's in the opposite direction of her really makes it look a lot more beautiful and gives a lot of detail into her already adorable eyes.

Something that I had brought back from a previous picture that I had made of Pear Butter were floating hearts. What I found kinda hilarious about adding these is that in the previous picture I had made of Pear Butter and Bright Mac, I had added the hearts in at the last second right before posting the picture online. For this picture, it was almost the exact same thing where the hearts were something that I thought of during the final stages of making the picture.

Making the hearts was pretty easy and all I did was just made heart shapes using a tool in Photoshop and just adding lighting to them and that was it! ^u^ Simple as that and I think they make Pear Butter look a lot more adorable to be very honest.

Also I don't even think I've mentioned this in previous pictures or not but I have mentioned it to a couple of my friends in the past. The creation of making pictures like these often comes from the love from my big red heart which grows more and more when I make lots of people smile so much. I often use a ton of love from my heart to add as much possible effects into my pictures as possible so that they would all turn out either adorable, beautiful, or awesome!

So for this picture, I no doubt used a lot of love that I have gained from so many friends but also from... friends which I haven't seen on DeviantArt in years and after I had finished making the picture up above, I was by myself during this time and I had actually let out tears run down from my eyes which somehow felt sad but happy at the same time seeing as how I had used love that I gained from friends I haven't seen in a long time that had left a huge impact on me and made me who I am today as a pony artist.

And that's pretty much all I have to say about the creation of making the picture.

Again I am truly sorry to everyone who has been waiting for so long for another Pear Butter picture to come out but thankfully, I was able to finally go back and finish something that everyone has been wanting to see me make for such a long time now!

But anyways enjoy the picture!
