Douglas: I can tell.. She's been hugging Donnie nonstop while crying. It's understandable because we did save her from them walking tin cans in th' past and she's promised us that she'll care for us, no matter what.

Summer: *was hugging Donald as tears ran down her face* You crazy Scot.. 😭

Donald: *slightly chuckled, despite the slight pain on his right eye* I'll be fine, young lass. A simple mutation to me eye won't slow me down.

Summer: But how will your friends back on the island react to this..? 😢

Donald: Ah'll explain everything to them, including all that happened. I'd rather be truthful about it. I know they'll be happy to see me come home. 😁

Summer: *hugs Donald again* You're a crazy, yet brave Scot. You know that?

Donald: Ah know, ah know. 😅

Amanda: Donald and Douglas are probably the most stubborn, yet brave Scots I've met.

Douglas: We know that, Amanda.

Hecma: *looks out from one of the windows of the first express coach*

Amanda: *looks up to see Hecma looking out* What is it?

Hecma: Could you get the other black tender engine? The one with the number 10?

Amanda: You mean Douglas? Why?

Hecma: I just want to ask a quick question.

Douglas: No need to go and get me. *puffs over alongside the express coaches before stopping by the first express coach and looks at Hecma* Did ye wanna ask me somethin' for a moment, young lass?

Hecma: Yeah. What's your thoughts on brake vans?

Douglas: They're an important essential for us steam engines whenever we are hauling goods trains on the island. I'm friends with a brake van named Toad.

Hecma: How come a few were destroyed? 🤨

Douglas: Uhh... 😶 I know that one of the brake vans was destroyed when me friend, Henry, took the Flying Kipper out during the winter and got switched onto a distant siding because of the ice and snow and crashed into a goods train. The other one is rather... *laughs nervously* It's a rather..complicated story. 😅

Hecma: Oh. 😶

Just a little something I did. Also, the black marks on Donald and Douglas's faces is actually warpaint that Lucas put on their faces at their request before the final battle. This scene is after the battle ends, with Beno, Kanyon, and their friends and allies defeating BEAST HOUND and his allies before evacuating the survivors on both sides from the base where the final battle occurred. After the base exploded and the survivors were evacuated to a safe haven at the harbor where Donald and Douglas worked at from time to time, they begin reflecting on how things would've been different if there was no hostility between both sides and Donald gets slightly told off by Summer, but not too badly because Donald knew Summer was more relieved than angry at him. I added some humor as well in the backstory so that way it isn't all gloomy and sad. Douglas calls Battle Droids walking tin cans as an insult. When it comes to discussing the subject of brake vans to Douglas, it gets rather awkward because Douglas did destroy a brake van, which happened to be the Spiteful Brake Van, a memory he gets rather nervous about. 😅
