At some point of Cath Hawke's first years in Kirkwall "That damned redhead Fereldan" could probably refer to more than one redhead Fereldan who regularly got on the bad side of Lowtown gangs.Anyway, it's been some time since I drew my Hawke, so here she is - complete with her beloved mabari, Ace (as Reks, my Warden's dog was a male I headcannon Ace to be female) and Fereldan Field armor (it's easily overlooked set, and I guess they didn't gave her real, protective armor just like that when she was beginning to work for Red Iron).
Later, when they began to get into skirmishes with teams who also had war hounds Ace got a protective, studded collar but there was some time when she ran around without any kind of it.

Yes she is!
Her bold pose kind of reflects her fighting style - she's brutal, fierce, sometimes too reckless but ultimately lives to face her enemies another day. She likes challenges and is known of keeping her spirit even in dire situations. Aside from that, she's quite nice to friends and random people she meets (I usually took "kind" responses in-game, and in around 30% cases "joking" ones, so if someone can endure her occasional feats of sarcastic, insufferable sense of humor she's rather helpful and kind).
