Description
This is a reproduction of a low quality jpeg of a screencap from the Super Mario World cartoon intro. I made a few alterations to make the characters look more like they should've, mainly some color changes and a few edits to the princess. I had also made Mario and Luigi's overalls a different blue like they are now, but since that came later, I dropped the idea. I think v1's better, but this one's less dated.Lines - Illustrator

I'm probably in the minority who prefer Mario and Luigi in red and green overalls and blue shirts. As for Peach, that is a really great take. Filling in those irises with pupilsΒ really brings out her eyes. Good job.

It always bothered me how even though Nintendo changed Mario, Luigi and Peach's colors, DiC still gave them that weird look.

Nice modernization, though Yoshi needs some serious touch-ups... then again, DiC themselves fixed up Yoshi's design in the later episodes of the SMW show.
