(M!Titan!Reader x Levi) Your First Word. 1/??

I just came up with this at around 2-3 AM and couldn't get back to sleep so...
Yeah.
This will probably be more of a Drabble series then anything so some updates might be short.
I am not all that far into Attack on Titan though thanks to a lot of fanfiction I have read, some of the main events I know.
But this story will barely focus on those.
As for the episode where Eren goes and seals the hole in the wall and Eren's trial...have not seen them so that is why I described them so vaguely and I apologize if something seems off.

ANYWHO! This story is mostly in your POV and since you a Titan...you aren't all that bright.
Yet. ON WITH THE STORY!

You aren’t quite sure when you started, well, thinking but you think it was the day that you saw a giant body of water as the sun was setting. You couldn’t understand why but it gave you more of a thrill then killing and eating those tiny things you and the rest of your kind hunted, so you stopped and stared at it. The corners of your mouth stretched upwards and you sat down on the pale colored dirt near the water and simply watched the colors slowly change until the sun was gone and the moon took its place. And even then you sat there, staring at the moon’s reflection and how the light made everything seem to have a white sheen to it. You didn’t know the word for it, heck you barely knew what words were at this point. But you liked it. Shortly after that day you started to pay more attention to the world around you. The cute, fuzzy creatures that ran around on four legs, vast fields of brightly colored plants and even the big rocks that were even way bigger then you were! The world was suddenly so much more exciting and that desire to kill those little, two legged fleshy things diminished. In fact, you started to prefer observing them rather then attacking. You would go to the place where the fleshy things lived and would follow the other Titans inside, but never attacked them…well, not any more. You would watch them and how they would fly around with black ropes and wielded shiny, sharp sticks to kill the other Titans.

At first you were worried one of them might attack you, but it seemed as you just stood there and watched, occasionally backing up if you got to close or hiding behind wood and rock things that you some times found the fleshy things in, they usually left you alone. They even gave you a name! An ‘Abnormal’ and they seemed to tolerate you…until you stuck around too long and was forced to flee. You started taking a liking to some of the little fleshy creatures. The one with the longish, blonde hair (You think the other ones called it an ‘Armin?’), the short, black haired one with strange lumps on it’s chest (Me kesa? Something like that.) and the brown haired one with those amazing colored eyes that could also turn into a Titan! Eren, you think it was called. You almost approached him while he was a Titan but quickly retreated when you saw what he was doing to your brethren. You did not want to get your head smashed by his feet. However, your favorite tiny, fleshy creature was one that you saw outside of the walls. This one had eyes like storm clouds. You didn’t know what it was called, so you dubbed it ‘The Spinny One’. Something about him captivated you. Maybe it was the way he twirled around while fighting, the way he looked or the sound of his voice…you couldn’t tell. But you wanted to be closer to him. Like the other fleshy things. But you knew if you tried that all the others would attack you. And from what you have seen, none of the fleshy creatures like Titans that kill them.

Which lead to the present as you stood far from the walls, staring at them. You weren’t sure how to get the fleshy things to like you and you didn’t like it. It made your tummy feel like a bunch of cold rocks were in it. You watched your brethren enter the hole in the first wall and heard some of the fleshy things screaming. All the sudden, it clicked. Just like the Eren-fleshy creature maybe, just maybe, if you killed other Titans they won’t attack you! Clapping your hands together at your stroke of brilliance, you make a happy grunting noise before charging toward the wall.

THIRD PERSON POV

Armin couldn’t help but to panic as he tried to get Eren still sat there against the building in Titan form. ‘Are my words not getting through to him…?’ He thought before he saw Eren starting to stir. Before he could he could say or do anything else he heard some one scream “Armin, look out!!” Armin turned around to see a Titan reaching for him. ‘N-No! I can’t dodge in time!’ He thought as he tried to activate his 3DMG gear anyway. Just as the fingers were about to close around him another Titan side-swiped the one that had reached out for him. The Titan who saved him had long [H/C] hair that stopped at his knees and Armin could just barely see [E/C] orbs from the mass of hair glaring down at the smaller Titan that had tried attacking him. He was slender and quite a bit taller then Eren’s Titan form. Long bone like protrusions capped his fingers, curling and narrowing to a sharp point at the end of his fingers like claws. Using these to his advantage, the [H/C] haired Titan slashed at the smaller one’s weak point. ‘What…? C-could it be another person like Eren?’ Speaking of Eren, he seemed to snap out of his daze and was now lifting the boulder and carrying it toward the hole in the Wall. He saw some of his comrades about to attack the [H/C] haired Titan and screamed “Stop!! I think this one is like Eren! It is attacking other Titans!” The others stopped and stared at both Armin and the [H/C] haired Titan, not sure to believe him. Until they saw the clawed Titan kill another one of his kind and saving another cadet. “Alright!! We have two Eren’s now!” One of the soldiers hollered, a few of them cheering for the [H/C] haired Titan.

Reader POV

After dispatching another Titan, you heard some joyful noises behind you. Turning your head, your large [E/C] eyes landed on the small squad of humans cheering. For you. You gave them a large smile and let out a happy roar before charging after another Titan. Your plan was working! The small fleshy creatures were starting to like you! Now, you just had to be careful and not mess things up!

---Small Timeskip---

Panting, you stopped and looked around. It seems that there were no more Titans to deal with and the Eren-creature and returned to his smaller, weaker form after sealing the wall. However, now that he was the only Titan left standing the other fleshy things started to get nervous. Some started to surround him, their sharp sticks pointing at you. They whispered and argued whether or not you could be trusted. You could feel the tension rising and didn’t want them to start attacking you, not after having them like you only moments ago. You let out a whine and put your hands up in front of yourself, back up and shaking your head. You wished you could communicate to them that you meant no harm to them some how but all you could do was growl, grunt and give them strange gestures. And that didn’t seem to be helping any, many of the small fleshy things seeming to panic at your actions. So you clapped one of your hands across the back of your neck to protect your weak point and ran off toward the outer most wall. Unfortunately you couldn’t climb over it, despite your height and the Eren-fleshy thing just sealed the hole. So you decided to hide behind a large group of trees that were too small to fully hide you. Hopefully you could hide out here until you thought of a way to show the fleshy creatures that you meant them no harm.

---Time Skip (After Eren’s Trial) -Third Person POV ---

Levi was sitting in his office after having saved that Eren kid’s ass when some one suddenly slammed the door open. “Captain Levi, Sir! The Abnormal that fought off other Titans while Eren sealed the wall is still hiding behind that patch of trees with its weak point covered! And…”

Standing up, slamming his hands down on to his desk, Levi scowled at the cadet and interrupted him. “Who said you could just barge in here unannounced?”

The cadet looked bewildered and stuttered “B-but Sir…! This is important! Squad Leader Hanji ran off on her own to confront the Abnormal!”

“She what!? Stupid shitty-glasses! Is she trying to get herself killed!?” Levi shouted before rushing out the door, shoving the cadet out of his way in the process. He just hoped he could get to that idiot Hanji before she did anything too stupid.

--- Readers POV ---

You have been crouched behind the trees for a while now and while the fleshy creatures didn’t get close to you a few of them were watching you. You wanted to sit down since crouching was starting to get uncomfortable but you didn’t want to get the little fleshy things upset so you stayed still.

“Yoooooooohooooooo~! I am talking to you, you big beautiful Abnormal~!” A shrill voice called. Turning your head you saw a brown haired fleshy thing with a strange, shiny but see-through thing in front of its eyes approaching you. You shuffled further away from it nervously and it stopped, its lower lip jutting out at you. “Now don’t be that way. I am not going to hurt you big guy!”

Wait, what? A fleshy thing that DIDN’T want to hurt you? FINALLY. A big smile spread across your face and you let out a pleased grunt. “Oh! Aren’t you just the cutest thing ever!! Look at that big, beautiful smile!” The brown haired fleshy creature said, clapping its hands together. You weren’t sure why, but you liked those words. They made you feel happy, like something was swelling inside your chest. “Mmnnhh!” Left your mouth, a failed attempt of speaking.

“Now why don’t you lean down here, hmm? I just want to get a closer look at you.” It said, making a strange wiggling motion with its finger. You weren’t sure what it was trying to communicate but after the fleshy thing made a few more strange gestures you got the idea of it. Or at least you think so. You put one hand on the ground and drop to your knees, the ground shaking as you do so. You keep your other hand on your weak spot as you lower your head down so you are face to face with the strangely excited fleshy thing. Your nose was inches from its face as it squealed in joy.

“Thats it, thats it! Good boy!!” It cheered. “Now let me get a better view of that handsome face of yours…” The brown haired creature then used one of its tiny hands to push some of your ridiculously long [H/C] hair out of your face.

Before it could say or do anything else, a familiar voice shouted “Hanji!!”

You couldn’t help but get giddy. Your favorite fleshy creature was here! The brown haired fleshy thing, now known as ‘Hanji’, turned around as the dark haired appeared on the back of a brown furred, four legged creature. The Spinny one got off the animal and stomped over to Hanji, having his sharp metal things drawn. Nervous at the sight of the weapons, you lifted your head up so it would be harder to reach your neck.

“Levi! Don’t! He hasn’t tried to hurt me at all! He seems to be very friendly!” Hanji said, getting in between you and the dark haired fleshy creature. You were quite happy to know its name now. Levi…yes that seemed fitting! And then there was that word. You have heard the other fleshy things say it before. Friendly…wait, no it was just friend. That seemed to be a word got the fleshy things to trust each other. Maybe if you let them know you were a ‘friend’ they would like you! As Levi and Hanji started to bicker, you tried to get the word out of your mouth.

“Frrrr….Frrrr…”

---Third Person POV---

“Just because it is an Abnormal doesn’t mean you can trust it! Are you suicidal or what!?” Levi shouted.

“But it is obviously intelligent! Look, it is covering It’s weak spot!” Hanji argued, pushing her glasses up some.

“Frrrrr…Frrrrr….” Came from the [H/C] haired titan, it being partially ignored for the time being.

“Even more of a reason not to trust it! If it is intelligent as you say it can easily kill you!”

“Frrrrr…Frrrieeee….”

“Yes, but if it wanted to, it would have by now!”

“For all you know, it is lulling you into a false sense of security!”

“Oh, don’t be rid—“

“Frrriiieennn…Frrriiieennnd…!”

“—culous, I…” Suddenly, both Hanji and Levi froze. They both turned and looked at the [E/C] eyed Titan.

“Did…that Titan just speak?” Levi asked.

The Titan grinned and pointed at itself. “Friend!” It repeated in a booming, raspy voice.

Hanji squealed in delight as Levi stared in disbelief. “I don’t fucking believe it…a talking Titan…”
