Description
My new years resolution was to start drawing more detailed backgrounds with all my work.And after watching Kung Fu Panda again I decided to try something similar in my own sort of anthro style.
Couldn't fit all the five in so I made the monkey do snake style and the tiger do crane style to fit
them all in.

Wow thats really good I love the fore shortening on the tigers body. really helps give the scene a sence of action

yeah I can imagine, forshortening is a really advanced technique in drawing I belive, I havent tried it much but when I have it dosent end to work well for me. you did a really good job getting it like that. it looks really good

Yh foreshortening can be a real pain sometimes, especially in perspective,
but I'd say its a bit more fundamental than advanced because once u have
decent grip of anatomy its not too bad. Plus a lot of dynamic poses cant
work without it, so its something quite important, especially if u do animation.

U just have to know ur anatomy quite well then the foreshortening
isnt that bad, can still be a pain though sometimes.

I should be learning a fair bit in anatomy soon. My short life drawing course starts tommorow so hopefully I learn a fair bit than.

yeah i know XD it is awsome, we had the first male modle today we've had in the class. was a little awkward to begin with but i addapted fairly quickly and just got drawing as ussual

Lol, I remember the first time I had to draw a nude male model.
Was very disconcerting having to eyeball the lighting on some
dudes junk. But after a few years, having to painstakingly
examine and draw an endless amount of random wangs, you kind
of get desensitised.

XD i know right, wasnt to hard for me to addapt to the situation though. after a few minutes i got over the awkward....junk and just drew. was more awkward when he decided to look at all our works and I'd defined all his body to the best efforts i could

Lol, if u study design for awhile and having lectureres absolutely tearing apart
ur work in front of all ur piers, believe me, u get immune to ppl checking out ur work
while ur busy.

hopefully XD I feel the same way for my work, I get up and draw and think "maybe I'll upload ths today" then I role over and go to sleep... I've just about filled another sketchbooks since my last upload so I really should get up and just upload something aye.
